Avery Dennison RFID 101 Training CD Now Available
'RFID' 101, a basic training guide for RFID.

RFID or "Radio Frequency Identification" is still an elusive concept for many people: How does RFID work? How secure is the data? Where is RFID used? These are just some of the questions that are regularly asked in connection with this technology. Avery Dennison RFID has therefore come up with the RFID basic training guide, "RFID 101", which answers all the underlying questions concerning this technology and its possible applications. Topics and issues covered in the CD include:

  • Why RFID? - History and current applications.
  • ABCs of EPC – Electronic Product Codes and other industry standards.
  • How RFID Works – Technology overview and system configurations.
  • Application Considerations - Challenges and opportunities with real-world RFID implementations.
  • Converting RFID Tags – Manufacturing RFID inlays & finished tags.

Each major topic is a separate module, allowing you to watch the presentation from start to finish (about 55 minutes) or to customize the presentation by watching select modules based on your own experience or schedule.

"RFID 101" is available on CD and can be requested free of charge through your local Avery Dennison sales representative or rollinfo.anz@ap.averydennison.com.
